Stations Opened for Use at 6 Locations

The Denizli Metropolitan Municipality has completed a significant milestone in its electric vehicle charging station project, launched to support environmentally friendly transportation and promote electric vehicle use in the city. The first of 46 charging stations planned to be installed at 20 locations across the city has been put into service.

Denizli Metropolitan Municipality Provides Great Convenience to Electric Vehicle Owners


As part of the project carried out by the Denizli Metropolitan Municipality, installations have been completed at six locations so far. Three AC units have been installed at the Hasan Gönüllü Parking Lot, one AC and two DC units at the Intercity Bus Terminal Parking Lot, two AC and one DC units at the EGS Congress Center, two AC and one DC units at Adalet Park, two AC units at the Metropolitan Municipality Congress and Culture Center Parking Lot, and two AC and one DC units at the Cable Car area. Once the installations are complete, a total of 46 charging stations (28 AC and 16 DC) will be operating in 20 neighborhoods.

Denizli Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Bülent Nuri Çavuşoğlu stated that they are planning Denizli's future today, stating that electric vehicle charging stations will contribute to both the city's environmental and economic vision. Çavuşoğlu said, "Our city's innovative and sustainable steps are no longer a choice; they are a necessity. Our electric vehicle charging network will make the daily lives of our citizens easier and position Denizli as a pioneer in the transition to clean energy. This project is a strategic step not only to meet today's needs but also to ensure that future generations live in a more livable Denizli."
